Being a CEO is a huge feat & congratulations on starting your business or being hired into a successful company! As a CEO, your mission is to lead and direct the brand and the employees within towards success. Now more than ever, branding yourself as that CEO is essential to being a thought leader in your industry and outs you at an advantage to meeting other people that can be beneficial to your business growth and so much more. So just how do you establish yourself as that CEO that everyone needs and wants to be connected with? By creating a personal brand and sharing that with your audience and demographic. Here are a few ways that you can create your image online and showcase your many skills that you have as a CEO: 

  1. Tell your story. People love to know about who you are, why you do what you do, and what inspires you. Find ways to do that – whether on an Instagram page, a YouTube channel, or a personal blog site. 
  2. Pay attention to what is going on in your industry and in the world. Provide your thoughts on these topics and allow your business and your voice to be a help and an authoritative figure. 
  3. Be transparent and allow behind the scenes. Connect with local media, newspaper and TV stations. Invite them to come behind the scenes to get to know you and your company a little better. This is great press as well! 
  4. Be a thought leader in your field. You have great innovative ideas – share them with others! Provide insight to those who may need someone to look up to. 
  5. Say what you mean and mean what you say. It can become tempting to make yourself look one certain way – but be true to who you are. Your unique qualities will attract an audience that wants to learn more from you.
